thanks for replying ipod, well there's no security, and don't think there's a killswitch, everything seems to be normal on it, ok i've taken it apart, i know there's gas getting to the carb, just acts like there's not gas going through, not sure if you know what i mean on that. But all systems a go, just seems like there's no fuel getting through. I don't know nor really get it, this just happened over night, all worked fine, i went back out that following day, and it wouldn't start.

thank you again ipod for the reply, i got her going finally. Turned out it was a loose wiring as you had posted. Kinda feel dumb on it, but hey it's my first bike. thank you again i'll definetly keep this place in mind for future issues i may have.

does you bike have a security system or anything like a kill switch? If it were a plug or something in the ignition it would have given a clue it was going bad. often what happens also, is if the bike has a on off switch that acts like a kill switch i could be malfunctioning and not actually moving the switch from kill to on.
It's almost certainly a switch or a wiring shorting does your electrical system seem normal the you turn the key on?

Take a shot of engine starting fluid and shoot it in the air filter and see if it fires.
if it does it's gas, if it doesn't it's electrical.
has it ever backfired or anything like that?
if it was a gas problem it wouldn;t happen over night.
the gas is gravity fed. when you turn the bike over can you smell gas at all after a couple minutes of trying to start?

It might just be flooded, turn it over with the throttle fully open to let air in to carb (turn off fuel whilst you do this ) then try and start it as normal don't forget to turn fuel back on. I've had a cbr f3 with same problem

1995 Honda CBR 600 F(3)S misfires under load

Hi, Mbporsche911 and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a cursory reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
2. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Spark plugs in bad condition or partially fouled.
4. Spark plug cables in bad condition and leaking check for spark leakage in the dark
5. Spark plug gap too close or too wide.
6. Faulty ignition coil, module, and or sensor.
7. Loose, dirty, or corroded ignition module connector at crankcase.
8. Faulty CKP or CMP, MAP, ETS, ATS, TPS, O2 sensor.
9. Dirty air filter.
10. Intake air leak.
11. Water, dirt, or rust in the fuel system.
12. Carburetor contaminated, sticky float, plugged jets.
13. Carburetor has oil in the bowl due to excessive oil in pre-mix.
14. Carburetor vacuum diaphragm torn, cracked, not seated or installed improperly.
15. Multiple carburetors out of sync.
16. Fuel filter clogged.
17. Old or contaminated fuel.
18. Fuel tank vent system plugged or carb vent line closed off.
19. Gas cap diaphragm valve faulty.
20. Vacuum line from intake manifold to fuel valve is broken, cracked, pinched, or missing.
21. Carburetor controls misadjusted.
22. Incorrect valve timing.
23. Valve springs floating, weak, or broken.
24. Damaged intake or exhaust valve.
25. Incompatible performance parts.
26. Control module may be in "LIMP" mode
27. Check for engine trouble codes.

1998 Honda CBR 600 F(3)W the 2 right cylinders are not firing

Hi, Chriscurling you need "FIVE" things in order for a cylinder to run properly:
1. FUEL: in order to validate your not getting fuel spray some starting fluid into the air cleaner and hit the starter button, if it fires up and runs for a few seconds then you know you have a fuel delivery issue. Multi carb banks should be bench "SYNC"
2. SPARK: remove the spark plug and with it connected to the spark plug cable ground the threads to something metal you should see a bluish white spark if not you have a faulty spark plug, spark plug cable, ignition coil, condenser, CKP, ECM, sensor or the wiring in between.
3. COMPRESSION: you must have at least 80-100 PSI for most bikes, multi-cylinder engines should be within 10-15% of each other if not perform a leak down test you may have a burnt or bent valve or hole in the piston or broken rings.
4. CAM TIMING: confirm your timing marks are aligned to see if the cam chain or adjuster are worn out and the chain has skipped a couple teeth.
5. IGNITION TIMING: on older bikes check to see if your points have not closed up, timing plate has not become loose and confirm with a timing light for proper retard and advance functions, on newer bikes where timing is controlled by an ECM and is nonadjustable check you CKP, TPS, MAP, O2, sensor or its counterpart for integrity.

My 95 f3 will crank but wont start. everything was working fine replace a headlight now it wont start with the starter. battery is charged and i can push start it but the engine just cranks and cranks and...

Sounds like a wire or plug got disconnected while changing the headlight out, the harness that connects to the clutch safety switch, the one that lets the ignition fire when cranking only when the clutch is pulled in. A safety feature so you don't dump the bike if you crank it while in gear.
