My speedometer was fluxuating then went to 0 and stopped working on my 2006 hyundai sonata and my digital mileage counter is not registering when im driving could it be a fuse? i have no codes and i am getting vehicle speed reading with my scanner while driving and it shifts fine

Go to www.hmaservice.com and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.
It sounds like it needs to be recalibrated. With the key out of the ignition, push in the trip mileage counter for 5 seconds. You should get a reading in the mileage counter which is the computer software version (such as sho2.3). Release the counter and you should see all the instruments and lights go through a self-diagnosis. After this stops, it the needle should go back to 0.

I don't know from where you bought the car but do you feel certain that typical causes such as fouled plugs or clogged air filters are not at fault?
Most dealers, even the shlocks don't normally skimp on the simple stuff but who knows about a private source?
That does seem low, especially the city numbers. I don't think Hyundai is any leader in gas mileage but they are better than what you are getting.
