Water leaks are not acceptable and neither are fans that don't come on before a overheat situation. Leak should be repaired and fan checked.

Hi, Yorkie and the usual suspects are:
1. Low coolant level.
2. Restricted radiator air flow.
3. Faulty thermostat.
4. Coolant pump or fans inoperative.
5. Vent hose crimped.
6. Air in the coolant and needs bleeding.
7. Engine idling too long or bike moving too slow.
8. Coolant too old needs to be replaced.
9. Faulty radiator cap.

this code is to remind you that the coolant should be changed inline with honda service schedule , make sure you get honda recommended coolant as other's may cause corrosion to the coolant channels , radiator etc

My xtype 3.0 is overheating I already change thermostat hoses radiator water pum put antifreeze ac fan and still overheating what about air in the system?

You may have a blown head gasket. 1st check to see if your coolant level is good, if it isnt make sure you top it off, run it for 20 minutes watching the temp. and putting the heater control to full hot to be sure you bleed out all the air that may be in the system, after 20 min or when the temp rises too hight turn it off, let it cool, open and top off as needed, repeat after topping off, do this till it no longer takes any more coolant and is no longer overheating. If your still overheating and slowly losing coolant you more than likely have a blown head gasket, they have a sniffer test you can do at the radiator cap your local parts store carries them or your local mechanic can run the test.

I'm BAFFLED with a heater issue. Heat went off in my 1991 CRX SI with no apparent reason. Car is not overheating. Coolant in tank is full and it's clean. Top radiator hose is hot; bottom hose

Check the PUMP, there is apump that pumps the coolant from the radiator into the engine, if its broken you will have that problem.

Cooling system

Raise the car front end as high as possible with a floor jack, fill the coolant tank to the top, run the engine until it reaches just short of overheating, shut it down and run water over the radiator, this will burp the air out. Repeat as needed. Don't let the coolant recovery tank run dry during procedure.

Found radiator leaking and topped up coolant reservoir. After short ride just before shutting down engine got an overheat warning, yet found sufficient coolant in reservoir. is there a check-valve or so in...

Sufficient fluid in the reservoir does not necessarliy mean that the radiator is full. If you have fixed the radiator leak, let the engine cool down and the radiator will draw coolant in from the reservoir until it (the radiator) is full. Make sure the reservoir does not go dry while this is happening - and do not remove the radiator cap until after everything cools off completely.
There's no check valve in the cooling system, although the radiator cap does serve such a purpose when there's a reservoir attached.

Car overheats replaced thermostat radiator, and waterpump, what else can cause this problem?

Hi:
Since you swapped out your cooling system, and I have to assume that you properly bled all the air out of the cooling system, and made sure that the engine and radiator are full of coolant, then your problem of overheating might be a head gasket leaking. It can let hot exhaust gases go right into teh coolant, and over heat your car.

Overheating

Hi,
A common problem with overheating that get's overlooked, is a sticking thermostat. As inexpensive as it is, and as easy as it is to replace, I would strongly suggest replacing it. An overheated engine could be catastrophic and a huge expense. I hope your problem is resolved...
