Question about 1993 Triumph Daytona 1200

Open Question

Motorcycle - 1991 Triumph Daytona 1000 wont start when hot

Motorcycle - 1991 Triumph Daytona 1000 (the 4 cylinder version) not a '93 Daytona but the Daytona 1000 isn't listed by 'fixya'

Starts fine when cold, when hot usually starts OK but if it's left for a few minutes (like when getting petrol) it wont start at all - dosen't even seem to fire on any cylinder.
Plugs look ok & are gapped OK, fuel seems to get to plugs....
Any ideas ?

Hi, Greg after careful deliberation 4 out 5 Triumph Gods give this one a thumbs up, but just to be on the safe side you should give your local dealer's parts/service department a call to confirm.

Hi, Chris I would love to help you with your engine or chassis noise but I just loaned my brand new pair of listening ears to your local dealer's chief technician so he could take your bike for a test ride and give you his professional opinion and estimate about your noise and repair cost. Hi,
Its possible the ignition module has failed caused from the over voltage supply when the voltage regulator overheated.
Have the ignition checked for spark, if this is ok then it has to be a fuel delivery problem which unfortunately could be the ECU.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
