It won't be a bad spring if the bike runs well. It is probably just a tappet out of adjustment. Set the valve clearances. Use only premium gas.

Hey. I does sound like valves are out of specifications. Does your bike start normally? If valves are out, you should hear it right away.

How to adjusted the high and low in a ryobi rcs3535c4

The initial hi and low jet settings are in the owner's manual or sometimes stamped on the side cover next to the carburetor. If you do not have a manual go to to get one.

Hi I'm Wayne. Pls help me with my GA13DS engine

Check for a bad rocker arm and correct valve adjustment. Make sure cam timing is correct. Never try to retard or advance the cam timing.

My Homelite ZR10926 16-Inch 33cc Ranger it is starting, idling, it dies when I accelerate it. I assume is the carburetor, maybe ? thank you.

It probably is not getting enough fuel. Check the filter in the tank. If it has been sitting with stale gass this filter plugs up.
Try running the engine with some choke. If this helps, try adjusting the carburetor high speed screw.

Ticking noise in engine .louder when it the cam chain

A ticking sound that gets louder as the engine warms up usually is an indication of the valves need adjustment. The clearance between the valve stem and the tappet on the rocker arm will get larger over time and needs a periodic adjustment. The cam chain can make noise as well, but "usually" more of a continuous noise that will change with rpm's (may quieten when accelarating/deccelerating). If it is the valve clearance, it is not an immediate concern, but should be adjusted to prevent unnecessary wear on the tappet/stem. Another way to tell is if it quitens somewhat with an oil change. Newer oil will provide more of a dampening effect on the contact between the stem and tappen, thus reducing the noise.

My engine will start while the choke is on but it stalls out immediately after i cannot find the solution.

It sounds like the air fuel mixture screws are set too lean, which means that the engine is getting too much air not enough fuel. It runs with the choke on because the choke restricts the air that is allowed thru the carburetor. You will need to locate the two small adjustment screws. It will be much easier if you secure the saw in a vise of some sort making sure that the chain can move freely. With the engine running, slowly turn the air mixture screw clockwise and the engine should begin to die. At this point you will need to begin to open the choke because you are richening the mixture. Very small increments will make alot of difference so move a little at a time until it runs without the choke. Then make your adjustments to fine tune using both adjustments at low rpm and at high rpm.

depending on what engine, you may have adjustible lifters. aIf it doesn't you may have a lifter bleeding down. you may want to try a bottle of lucas additive your next oil chang.

Loss of power

Don't continue to try for high speed operation until the problem is rectified. Look for loss of chain oil or the chain is too tight. If it is equipped with a chain brake, make sure that it isn't dragging on the clutch rim. (It would be very hot or blue colored.) If no oil, remove the bar and chain--run the engine and watch for oil coming out of a port near the sprocket end. If it does so, clean the holes in the drive end of the bar, especially the small holes that connect to the chain track slot. Adjust the bar to tighten the chain enough that the chain doesn't begin to droop from the bar, yet turn freely by hand. If no oil comes out of the port, then the oil lines or the oil pump are/is faulty. Be sure to use bar oil only in the tank?

Vibration At 3000 RPM

If it is a rubber mount engine, try running thru the motor mount adjustment. You WILL need a manual for this. If it's a solid mount engine look for loose bolts and nuts, and not just on the engine. Parts still shake loose on Harleys, even a 2003.
