No low beam headlights hi beam okay fuses 11, 16 okay relay hdlp lo/hid okay bulbs seem okay

Did you check low beam fuses for voltage, with headlamps on lo beam? Use a testlite to check for voltage. In the diagram you see the lo/hid relay, correct? I'm not saying the relay is faulty, you need to check voltage and ground. The bcm and dimmer switch are involved, I don't know if check for headlamp/lighting trouble codes will help? Don't replace anything unless your testing points in the direction.

Fuse seems okay but no head light but there is bright and park light

could be blown headlight on low beam filaments in globe.
other possible causes - headlight relay
check if there is voltage at the relay coil being switched thru. if not the headlight switch could be faulty. get a piece of insulated wire - strip the ends and bypass the relay by passing the +ve voltage wire to the headlight side. this replicates the relay function. thus testing if switch is faulty in providing power to relay coil.

Switches off after 5 mins

Thermostat click? A leaky pressure switch will cause this.

Stuck fan, causes compressor to get hot and stop.

Dirty coils, ditto.

Blocked outside vents, ditto.

Weak run capacitor, will cause compressor to run hot and stop.

Low voltage from bad breaker, house wiring, outlet, cord or internal switch, will make compressor run hot.

Low on gas, the circulating gas keeps the compressor cool and will overheat quickly if it's too low.

Have a professional check, pretty much in that order even.

Where is the headlight relay located on a 2002 PT Cruiser?

Did you check the fuse box inside the cabin ? The book says the relay is in the fuse block but does not give a description.
Keep in mind the headlight relay only affects the headlights. The other lights you mentioned are on different fuses and not the headlight fuses.

I have no power to my headlights,I've checked fuses and relay they are okay.I don't think there is no power going to the switch.Do you have a wiring diagram for the lights? Thanks

That is a bead headlight switch. You would have to replace the it with a new one. Actually you have to get the whole switch assembly where the head the switch to the headlight is integrated in.

I don't know about this particular car, but you may have a relay problem as all the functions on main lights are done by relays due to the high current required, I would say your fuses are okay as you can get all the lights lights to work using a different control relay - if I have understood you correctly.

My headlight wont turn on what can i do?

both headlights or just one headlight?

standard stuff... for now...
check the battery (if the car isn't running)
check the fuses (should be in the engine bay)
check the relay for your headlights, depending on year, there may just be one relay for both
Check your wiring on your stalk, if parking lights, blinkers, etc turn on, might be okay..

Sorry, these are generic as i'm not compleyly a ford expert, just work on cars in general

96 Dodge Ram 1500 wiring diagram for headlights.

Here's a link to a pdf file containing the headlight wiring diagram for your year model Dodge Ram 1500..
I can't help but notice that you say you've replaced the headlight relay? That's quite odd, because there is NO headlight relay on this vehicle- only a 40 amp fuse located in the power distribution box that sits behind the battery inside the engine bay.
The switch is notorious for burning out because there is NO RELAY on this vehicle, and there is a recall (#819) but this only affects 3500 models even though the headlight wiring is the same for 1500,2500 and 3500 model Rams.
Here are two more links that will help you troubleshoot your headlights problems.

2002 dodge ram 1500 running lights always on....

Did you check coil voltage at relay? If not just unplug relay while lights are on then slowly reinsert, if the relay clicks control voltage is there and means a short some where, possible bad switch. I hope this helps you solve your problem. If the relay doesn't click, check for control voltage to the coil, Your relay contacts could be fused together.

Headlight problem

Yeah,

There was a relay between the headlight selector switch and the dip/high beam stepper relay which was not on the circuit diagram.
Its a bit difficult to access and is right under the dash on the far left above the fuse panel (British right hand drive type).
The multi spade connector (5 terminals) had been intermittent and overheating for some time. I cut off the connector and soldered all connections to the relay.
The 240SE is back to its reliable self.
