There are 36 inches in a yard so 500 yards is 18,000 inches.

If my muzzloader is shooting 5 inches to the right at 30 yds, how many clicks would I have to turn to the left?

1 click moves it 1/4 inch at 100 yds. So 5 inches would be 20 clicks at 100 yds. For 30 yds, it’s gonna be about 3x that. So around 60 clicks

I need to know how much stone in tons I need to fill 8.5 acre at 1.5 ft depth

Stone is approximated at about 2700 lbs. per cu. yd.
An acre is 43560 sq. ft.
8.5 acres is 370260 sq. ft.
There 9 sq.ft. per sq. yd., thus there are 41140 sq. yds. in 8.5 acres.
A cubic yard is 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet (LxWxH).
Since you are only going to be at 1.5 feet, each square yard is equal to 1/2 cubic yard, so to figure the cubic yards divide sq.yds. by 2, thus you get 20570 cu. yds. of stone.

20570 x 2700 = 55539000 pounds. Divide by 2000 to get tons:
55539000/2000 = 27769.5 tons.

How much bullet drop with a 130 gr bullet out of a 270 at 1500 yds

Are you sure of your distance - that is 4500 feet, or .85 miles. Here is the drop up to 500 feet:
270 Win Ballistics Chart Coefficient GunData org

Firing 130 grain bullets at between 3250fps and 3300fps, the .270 WSM is capable of delivering high shock for impressively fast killing out to ranges of around 300 yards along with clean but sometimes slightly delayed killing out to 400 yards. After approximately 500 yards, wound channels become proportionate to the expanded bullet.

Area of 8'x6'x4" into cubic metres

By your above measurements:
2.67 yds long 2.0 yds qide .11 yds thick for .59 total cubic yds or
2.44 meters long 1.83 meters wide .1 meters thick for total cubic meters of .45 this is reasonable considering the meter is longer than the yard so the total meter would be less..

How many yards to cover 30ft/40ft 4 inches deep in concrete

That may be ok for the US, but in Europe you would need cubic metres.
I yd = 0.914 m, 1 cubic yd = 0.914 x .914 x .1914 = 0.764
So 14.66 cu. yds is 14.66 x 0.764 = 11.2 cubic metres - with a bit of luck!

How many cubic yards is 3600 square feet in 6 inches?

  1. Calculate
    • Calculate your area (see below)
    • Calculate your volume; Multiply area times the depth, this will be volume in cubic feet
    • Calculate your cubic yards; Divide cubic feet by 27 to convert to cubic yards and this is your answer.
    • Where (ft2) = square foot, (ft3) = cubic foot, (yd3) = cubic yard
  2. Google
  3. or i'll do it 66 and 2/3 cu Yds

Sight in

Depends totally on the ammunition you use. It will be markedly different for a light loaded heavy bullet .38 special as compared to a fast light bullet .357. The difference could be measured in feet rather than inches at 100 yards.

There are several ballistics programs on the internet that will help you with this, but you need to know things like bullet speed, ballistic coefficient, distance, etc. to use them effectively. Something as simple as a call to the ammunition manufacturer could answer your question quickly. Just ask them the drop of the bullet at 25 and 100 yards and adjust your sights using that information.
