You skipped the 1st step
disconnect battery minus lug 1st, , rule 1st off. last on, all cars. USA.
so you blew up the fuse, or fuseable link there next or inside
the main box. PDC the main power box has huge fuses.
this is covered in the FSM. buy one, so you know the steps.
and not get hit with flying acid. (photos not pretty)
or
alldata.com RTM

if you had a voltmeter, all this would be seen now
you see voltage at battery but it dont make it past the PDC
simple cause. fuse blow.
12v xxxxxxxxfusexxxxxxxxxxx-0v
see my schematic. see 0v, bingo, fuse blown.
every time.

My 1994 lincoln town car cranks but cuts back off?

If the alternator is not charging the fuel pump wont run either. This is a safety feature so in case there is an accident the fuel pump wont run. Fix the alternator and you'll be good to go.

2008 jeep patriot wont start after accident

some of these models have a fuse box on that side under the hood. I'd start there first. After that, have an assistant try to start vehicle while voltmeter is attached to battery terminals. Did voltage drop to 10-11volts during cranking attempt? If so, suspect starter.

Got into accident car wont start where is kill switch

IT should be at the back part of the engine bay. See if the reset helps. Other than that check for loose connections or disconnected ground wires.

Will not charge battery. Replaced alternator and accidently sparked the large hot wire to ground during re-assembly. Checked all fuses and are good.

Will the battery take a charge, charging it with a battery charger ? Might want to have alternator checked to see if its any good, make sure battery cable connectors are tight, if they arent the battery more than likely wont take a charge.

Car wouldn't crank but can be jumped off and had power. Cleaned the corrision off the cables and it would do fine. Couple of days later do it again. I got stranded in it at store and got jumped off....

Yu don't say which fuse has blown. It seems the battery was the original problem, but you may have "grounded" something in replacing the battery, or you may have accidently reversed the cables (polarity). Check all is well with the battery installation, replace the fuse (with the same vaue) and test if you still have the starting problem. If yes, I would get the starter motor checked out. It may be drawing excessive current whilst cranking.

NEW ALTERNATOR, 1 MONTH OLD BATTERY, PROBLEM TURNING ON

zSounds like you have a bad ground situation. There is a grd to the engine from the bat and one from engine to the body at the rear of the engine. chk them both for clean tight connections. Good luck. Your baterry should charge between 13.6 -14.2 range.
