TVS Apache RTR 160 - Engine Valve Cut.

I was driving my bike TVS apache RTR 160 and all of sudden felt a kind of a blast like sound near the exhaust and the bike did not start after that. Mechanic says engine valve must have got cut. Can anyone let me know how much would the repair work cost approximately?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: my bike tappets are sounding a lot, till my bike

So why not just get a set of feeler gages and reset the valve clearances? Getting a new cam is not going to change the need to set the valve clearances. Unless a lack of oil has caused the cam and rockers to self distruct, these parts normally last the life of the bike.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

2012 Apache RTR 160 HyperEdge the neutral light is not on when it is in neutral, the electric starter will not work without the clutch lever pulled in, what is the problem?

Hi, Sushant the neutral light could be a burned out bulb, faulty neutral light switch or the wiring in between, the clutch lever has a safety switch so you can't start the bike in gear for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below.
