My 2006 Harley Streetglide I just purchased came without the brake light working (its not the bulb as I already replaced it just in case) and the radio display lights up however I cant see anything on the display.

front brake lever not depressing brake light button. inside throttle housing or I had a guy the other day thought brake light was stuck on (found burnt fillament brake light)

Do Not remove wheel.............push the pads back and remove the two pins.
Note there is a inner and outer pad on assembly, have a look at the new pads they are different

Check the wiring within the headlight shell--look for connectors that may be corroded or pulled loose. A little WD-40 will favor connection integrity when sprayed into the connectors, then coupling and uncoupling them several times. Hope this helps!

Try loosening the bolts holding the front master cylinder on the handlebars. Slide the master cylinder down as close as possible to the right handlebar switch housing. If this doesn't work, the front brake light switch is probably bad and needs to be replaced in the right switch housing.
