Question about 1989 Suzuki GSX-R 750 RK
Have had the bike for about two months now and ony recently noticed that the tachometer doesn't work. any ideas?

because it comes on sometimes and then stops working for no reason.there is a loose connection behind your bike meter u can try to check at the coonection from the c.d.i. units to your meter which the all connection is behind the meter

There sounds like there is a problem with your spedometer rotor sensor and you will need to check this out but it will be easier to see from the manual(page 47) and you can download it free here:

the first thing to see if the cable has snapped take off fron clock and oull out of casing see if the hole cable comes out or just some of it
