I have a keyless remote that I recently replaced the batteries in, and it has been working fine for the past week, but now the remote will not work with the car. The remote's battery is just fine but the car will not respond. The car does not have a valet switch, and the car will not disarm, or start or anything. How do I disable the alarm so that I can still drive the car?

you can try switching the key to the "on" position then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and reconnect after 2minutes. this will allow the alarm to be '"reset" and will recognize that you have the key for the vehicle.

try turning the key almost to start and keep it there for about ten minutes. hope it works. I got this tip from somebody else.

you may have to disconnect the battery for a minute or so ,this will reset the alarm. check your remote it does have a battery in it. otherwise you have to look for a fuse somewhere under the dash close to the fuse box.each one is diff. depending if it original toyota or aftermarket alarm.
