What wire can i cut behind the sterio for the antitheft fuelpump cutoff

There is no wire you can cut ,doing this will make your vehicle never start .

No power to fuelpump or coil or coil driver so I ran a jumper wire and fuelpump and all started working what is causing no power

The common component to the coil and fuel pump is the ASD relay. The ASD (auto shutdown relay) is activated from the (ECM) engine control module by the ignition key, but in the event of a roll over or crash the ASD relay kills power to the engine and fuel.
26111978-lkayiuev2pawqft0guju1hyb-3-0.gif Above is a typical under hood power distribution. I will usually look for a identical relay and swap it with the ASD relay and see if it corrects the problem. If this is the circuit then the key switch and safety circuits need to be checked.

My theft deterant is activated,how can i remedy it?

The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. Reset security ,,ran for like 2 mins then check engine and security light allover again...whats the problem?

The key has a microchip inside of it. If the key is damaged,it will continue to do that. Another possibility is the security ring that goes around the ignition cylinder,OR the ignition cylinder itself. Id get a new key,and have it programmed first,before going any further...OR have someone with a scan tool check the security system for codes.

The ignition module should be mounted on the side of the distributor.
You would need to check to see if the module is getting power from the key, and if the pickup coil in the distributor is providing a signal to the module.
You also need to know if the injectors are getting voltage and a pulse signal.

Gmc yukon turns but will not start dont hear the fuel pump on in the fuel tank

With ignition key on run, use test light to verify you have positive & ground to fuelpump. No power (positive) check fuelpump fuse. No ground check fuelpump relay. If both positive & ground fuelpump needs to be replaced.

Engine turns over, but will not start

Listen for the fuelpump when you first turn the key. It will run only 1 or 2 seconds and then cut off. If you do not hear it run, there is a switch in the trunk next to the Airride.

This is the Inertia switch and you need to push the button on it and hold it in for 1 or 2 seconds. Then turn your Ignition key and see if the fuelpump runs. It should start fine after this. The Inertia switch is a safety switch and sometimes can trip when a door or trunklid is slammed.

If your vehicle does not start, you still could have a Bad fuelpump relay which you will find in one of the Powerboxes under the hood. There are also Ignition relays for some models, again in a Powerbox. There are scanners which you can use to diagnose the problem.

The antitheft system can interfere with starting. As a last effort you can try to punch n the Doorcode and try to start the car within seconds of entering the code.

I have replaced the fuel pump amongst a lot of other things. I can spray gas or starting fluid in the throtal body and it will run rough untill the fumes ware out. Its a 1995 ford explorer 4x4 xlt

If you hear the fuelpump operate the first 1 or 2 seconds when the key is turned to RUN position, the fuelpump is working. If you do not hear the fuelpump run, check the Inertia switch which should be in the side panel of the rear cargo area. If you have an owners manual check for the Inertia switch location.

To reset the Inertia switch, hold the button on it for 2-3 seconds. You should now hear the pump run. You may also have a fuelpump relay under the hood in one of the Powerboxes. The Powerbox may have a fusible link from the Battery. When the fusible link is OK and the Pump Relay is OK, there is a fuse in the Fuse panel. Then finally the Ignition switch will trip the Pump relay. As power flows through the wire to the fuelpump the Inertia switch can break the power connection.

So you have 5 powerpoints before the fuelpump will work. Fusible link, Pump Relay, Fuse Panel, Ignition Switch,and Inertia switch. These must all work before the fuelpump can run.

I can jump the solenoid, to turn car over but will not start

You seem to know what you are doing by jumping the Solenoid. Jumping the Solenoid tells me it would not crank with the Key and that can mean you also lost the power to the coil. You need to check the "Tickler" wire at the Solenoid for the cranking problem. You need to check for spark at the plugs for the NO start condition.

When you jump the Solenoid make sure the Ignition is in Run position. A bad Ignition switch or Ignition Relay can keep power from going through the Ignition. You may want to backtrack from the plugs if no spark, to see if the Coil is getting power.

If you have fire at the plugs check your Inertia switch if you do not hear the fuelpump. You will also need the Ignition switch to work for the fuelpump to go on. All problems can come from Ignition switch.

I need a wiring diagram for the fuelpump

I do not have a diagram. Try this. Check for 12V at one of the wires with the ignition key on; you may need to do this a few times because the voltage will only be on for about 8 seconds. Have someone turn ignition on and off. Do not crank but if you do, voltage will be there also. Then that would be the fuel pump hot wire. One will be ground. Also ground the wire one at a time, if the gauge moves, then that is the fuel gauge wire. The other would be ground or there could be a body ground generally speaking. How many wires goes to the tank?
