Question about 2007 Hyosung GT650R TTC
Ive been trying to get my mates bike started, as been outside for a year. ive charged batterey. also checked fuel, plugs, fuses, clutch and stand cut out switches, the clutch switch is broken so was told to by-pass. which helped. turn key and start button but engine wont turn over. if there's anything else i could try please advize. thanks. p.s not sure but think the year of bike is 2002 as could only find that on frame of the bike.
Take the carburetor to a qualified professional and have him clean and set it.. Remove the spark plug. squirt some PB Blaster and WD40 into the hole and let it sit for 48hrs... it should turn over after that... http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/PBB0/PBTS/N1737.oap?ck=Search_N1737_1317313_-1&pt=N1737&ppt=C0139

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially and based on your description, this pertains to a fuel issue. Corrective action would involve not only changing the fuel but cleaning the fuel tank, the built-in fuel filter, the fuel valve, the carb. Particular attention should be given to the jets and the multiple pin holes.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

You should have paid a little more money and got a Kaw; suki; hon. yam. you should have gotten somthing bran name; you got a throw away bike. The wirring system is messed up and there might not be no replacment parts .Your wirring system needs to be reworked.

Check for water in the carb
But it may just be the alteration you've made to fuelling
did it start when the exhaust was altered,
if so you know what to do.
Please mark this as useful (if it has been!!)

SOURCE: gv 250 wont stay running
Engine stalls easily. 1. Fouled spark plug. 2. Clogged fuel hose. 3. Clogged jets in carburetor. 4. Valve clearance out of adjustment. Clean. Clean. Clean.

What I would suggest then is to bridge the side stand switch. If the switch stays open circuit, it will never start but if you bridge the wires before the switch then the bike should start and have now solved the problem for the interim or you if it does not start you know you have to look elsewhere.
Please get back if you require anything else or give favorable feedback.
