Honda fit how to fit a rear hugger to a vfr

Interesting question. About the only thing I can think of would be to cut away the right side of the hugger, to simulate the one-sided swingarm. You would ideally like to keep as much of the "front edge" of the hugger as possible since the right side has no place to attach. I'm not sure how strong the particular "hugger" piece you have/looking at is. I f I remember correctly they are usually the same material as the stock fenders. somewhat rigid but not completely. You may get some flapping at speed, but would still get some of the benefit of the hugger. You might have to try a couple of different "profile cuts" on the open side, leaving as much material as possible to retain the rigidity (to help reduce flapping).

Harbor Breeze fan light keeps blinking on and off. Is problem in switch or in fan unit assembly?

That's what you get when you buy a low-end store brand fan. Also, you should never buy a hugger fan unless your ceiling is under 8 ft. Most hugger fans are worthless. They have a cheap motor and no blade pitch.

How can i tell if i have a sportster hugger or just a sportster 883?

The difference between the 883 and the hugger were very small. the hugger came stock with buck horn handlebars and a shorter suspension. the differences are still noticeable today between a standard 883 and and 883 low.
  • Hugger model made even lower
  • Standardized hand controls
  • Production Information:
  • XLH 883 $4,499
  • XLH 883 'Hugger' $5,075
  • XLH 883 'Sportster Deluxe' $5,559
  • XLH 1,200 $6,400
also check your vin number if you have and 883 it should read 1hd4cam........ or for a hugger 1hd4cem....

I have a 1989 harley hugger we changed the oil and now when you start it the oil cap blew off and blew out oil what is wrong

Too much oil in the system now, Remove a half quart, see what happens. This is common on the Softails and Full Dressers too, when the recommended amount of oil is used. Trial and error through the years have dictated the use of either a 1/2 quart or more, less oil.

Hope this helps.

Changing front brake pads

Doing the brakes is about as easy as it gets. I do recommend spending the $60.00 for a manuel if you are going to work on the bike a lot. You can also check with your local library, I used to check one out until I bought my own.
