Sounds like the ignition switch thinks it is in the "park" or "acc" position. Could be an internal switch problem.

SOURCE: 07 gsxr 600 no power to the fuel pump or coils put

Start with the basics. Check the fuses, then use a digital multi meter to check continuity from the fuse panel to the fuel pump and coils. If you have good power/ground/continuity, the next step is locating a complete wiring diagram to find out what other components are in the loop. But if you start with the basics first, you won't be dropping hundreds in parts for a $.12 fuse.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 GSXR 600 and my gauge cluster and

Hi and welcome to the site,

Check the ground connection of the gauges and the black/white wire from the headlight.. Alternately, wire an additional ground wire from the battery's - terminal to the black/white of the headlight and the common ground of the gauges.

Good luck and thank you for asking.

1996goldwing trike tail lights fuel gauge temp gauge not working all other lights work

If the tail lights, low fuel light, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge are not working, there could be several possible causes:
  1. Blown Fuses: Check the fuses for the tail lights, low fuel light, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. If any of these fuses are blown, replace them with a new one.
  2. Loose or damaged wiring: Inspect the wiring for the tail lights, low fuel light, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. Look for any loose connections or damaged wires. Repair or replace any damaged wires and ensure all connections are tight.
  3. Faulty sending units: The low fuel light and fuel gauge are connected to the fuel sending unit in the gas tank. The temperature gauge is connected to a temperature sending unit on the engine. Check these sending units for faults, and replace them if necessary.
  4. Faulty instrument cluster: The instrument cluster itself could be faulty, causing the temperature and fuel gauges to not work. A qualified mechanic can test the instrument cluster to see if this is the issue.
It's also possible that the trike has a separate electrical system for the tail lights, and that this system is malfunctioning. A qualified mechanic can test the trike's electrical system to determine the cause of the issue.

Is there a reserve switch on a gsxr 600 motorcyle? if so where is it located ?

there is no reserve switch for the fuel, there is only a warning light in the gauge cluster, with that coming on you should have atleast 30+ miles to go (do not try that though unless you like walking). As soon as the light comes on I would be looking for a fuel station.

I have a wiring problem on my motorcycle - suzuki gsxr 600 k4. I only have n/s indicators. When i move a cluster of wires the o/s then work, but the tail and number plate lights also flash intermittently...

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, it would appear to be multiple electrical issues.

Offhand:
  • for tail and license plate lights flashing, a loose or no ground. Check the black/white wire on the rear lights harness, its connector. It is also possible to hardwire an additional ground wire to the rear frame;
  • for the other, check the orange/green or dark green wire and its terminal/connector.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Where is the fuel filter located on my 2008 Suzuki GSXR 600?

Some bike did not come from the factory with a fuel filter. If it has one it would be under the fuel tank in the fuel line before the fuel pump or carbs.
