SOURCE: DR 200 runs really cold. Takes about 15 minutes or so to warm up

It depends on the tempature, if its pretty chilly out yeah. Try easing the choke in slowly, and when it will idle at about half choke go aheand and take off but run the bike easy for a few minutes then close the choke.

Check vacuum line from #6 intake runner (port side rear cylinder) to the fuel petcock valve. The valve is vacuum operated for safety. It cuts off fuel to the carbs when the engine is shutdown. Hose could be cracked or diaphram in valve is cracked. Easy to inspect the valve.

Hi first advice i would give,is not to run the machine wth a discharged battery when the battery is in a state of discharge electrical items such as Expensive cdi ignition units can become faulty due to overcharging, the most likely reason is the battery itself, if you havenot replaced this, then do so now, secondly thr regulator rectifier, this alows power to travel only 1 way while at the same time converting AC to DC, faulty rectifiers alow voltage to travel from the rectifier in the wrong direction causing the battery to discharge,

I have a 99 safari sle i have a problem, i will be running fine then i all of the sudden get a sputter and stall wont start for 15 min

If it only does that while under demand, that is going up a hill or accelerating, fuel filter or pump intake is getting plugged. If it is happening on hotter days or when in the sun, a relay is heating up, separating bad solder connections. Many other possibilities include weak spark coils, contaminated fuel, dirty sensor connections. Is your Check Engine Light on? Go to a parts store and borrow their code reader. Some Auto Zones and others allow this.

Car runs perfect then starts missing real bad then stalls

Not unusual for fuel pumps to begin to fail once they are heated up from running. First thing in the morning pump is cool, then as you drive, it heats up and begins to lose pressure. After sitting a 1/2hr-1hr, it may start again and run fine for a short time and start to act up again. Had similar problem and found good fuel pressure when tank and pump cool, but lost pressure once vehicle driven a distance and pump heated up. The hotter the weather, the shorter the distance I could drive. If you can somehow set it up to have fuel pressure checked when it starts to act up, that would certainly help confirm if fuel pressure is the culprit.

Car will run and then some time later stalls, then starts rught up and then a little bit later stalls, did this 5 times today and finally wouldn't start when the engine got hot (actually just hotter) seems...

You have a lot to check. Start by scanning the engine codes. There's good chance it will tell you where to look next.
The symptoms sound like fuel delivery (assuming the engine runs well when it runs). Put a fuel pressure gage on the car and verify that you are getting a constant and good pressure. Could be fuel pump, blocked lines, bad fuel regulator, or an intermittent electrical problem. I had a situation like this where the car would run fine and then just cutout or not start. Turned out to be a loose connection to the fuel pump. Easy fix. Very hard to find.

Weak spark and than no spark

it sounds like the engine is cooking up the plug,, if a new plug gets you started again once you have fitted it, its not the bike's spark,,,its the old plug,, its burnt out,i think the carb is running vey week,, and this makes the engine run very hot,,,it could melt a piston crown !!! have you tinkerd with the exhaust pipe in any way? as this will throw the card way out of tune,,,and they sound very noise too, if you try a hotter plug in the bike it should sort out this sparking problem,,,mine eat plugs at a set a week,,,i had the wrong pipes fitted to my bike when i got it,,,

I have a 2003 kx250 i run it with mc1 50:1 and when i ride it slow around my campsite it will foul a plug and when im out in the trails getting on it hard it will run hard what sould i do so i dont foul...

I would stay with the same heat range(BR8) to stay on the safe side. You didn't say if when you are at the camp sight the bike is cold and just off the truck or warm and right off the trail. But usually alot of 2strokes need to be cleaned out when their being warmed up or they can foul a plug. Get it started, blip the throttle a few times to get some heat in the cylinder and then hold it open until you hear it rev faster and run smooth. Thats usually enough.

If it is hard to start after it stalls, it is probably getting too much fuel. Could be dirt in the float valve. Also try running a hotter spark plug

make sure choke on carburetor is open when engine is warmed up.if all is good .carburetor is lean float bowl is low.in fuel .because the fuel pump weak or fuel filter stopped up.make sure idle speed is correct.
