ignition coil, or plug between ignition sensor and module.
7. Intermittent short circuit due to damaged wire insulation.
8. Water or dirt in fuel system, carburetor or filter.
9. Fuel tank vent system plugged or carburetor vent line closed off.
10. Carburetor controls misadjusted.
11. Damaged carburetor.
12. Loose or dirty ignition module connector at crankcase.

2006 softail delux back firing and missing when you hold throtle

1) Throw a full or 1/2 can of Seafom (found in most auto stores) into the tank, then go riding.
2) if that doesn't clear this up, drain the tank and add new gas, plus half a can of Seafom, then go riding.

Good Luck, Bob

How do you remove starter? I have removed all bolts & wires and I still can't remove the starter. I must be missing a clip of some sort.

Did you remove the bolt that holds the starter jackshaft onto the starter? If not, Remove your left footboard, Drain the primary, and remove the outer primary cover. Remove the small bolt that holds the starter jackshaft onto the starter.

If this isn't it, get back with me.

Good Luck
