Question about 2005 Honda VT 750 DC Shadow Spirit

Put a new starter relay on my 2005 Honda VT750 But still nothing

It will crank when I jump the relay bout wont fire

    I've been thinking it's the neutral switch how can I bypass to test it

Squeeze the clutch handle, if still nothing, you have a electrical (fuse)
problem

wow that a heleva lot off fuel buddy right is the jets standard also on the carb is a screw turn this mixture screw in 1/2 a turn or till it stops back firing and get back to me 40b9700.jpg

Did you test the battery voltage to see if its okay? If its fine...test for voltage on both sides of the main fuse...then with key on test for voltage at the fuse block.
If you have no voltage at the fuse block...inspect wiring around ignition switch for damage or try wigging the key in case switch contacts burnt.

i have a 2005 honda spirit 750,only has 500 miles now.when i bought it used it had 262mls.The first thing i did was taking it to the Dealer to have the carbs cleaned and a dynojet and cobra pipes installed.the bike rode well.now the bike misfires at times plus stalls as if it ran out of gas. i then have a hard time starting it back up.i then put it in reserve mess with it some more and then it starts.does anyone know what can be wrong.

check your crankshaft position sensor. fuel+spark+compression+timing=ignition.

Won't crank won't start


There are two starter relays in this vehicle. One is in the fuse box, the other right on the starter. Pull the fuse box starter relay. Check for battery voltage on two of the cavities in the socket when you turn the key to the START position. If you see that, then check for ground on one of the other two cavities. If you see all those readings, try swapping the starter relay with another one of the same size and type.

Sounds like your starter is froze up. Try tapping on the starter.

Wont start it cranks but nothing happens.wont turn over. put a new what you would call distributor. still nothing.


If the Starter isn't turning the engine over, but you hear a clicking sound, you may have a bad Starter.
If the Starter is turning the engine over, but you are getting no Spark, you may have a failed Camshaft or Crankshaft Position Sensor, or your Timing Belt may have jumped or broken(common on the neons).
If the Starter is turning the engine over, but you are getting Spark, you may have a failed fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or fuel pressure regulator.

Before you start replacing sensor, double check the Timing belt to ensure it hasn't broken or jumped, and check to see if you are getting a spark or not.

1995 honda accord put new starter on then new solenoid still starter will not turn over or nothing checked all fuses grounds still no power to starter?


There is still the starter relay and the actual ignition switch to check. Either could've failed, preventing current from going to the starter while trying to crank the engine. Check them out.

1500 Ram wont start, no crank no click nothing. Air cond and dash lights work just fine just wont start. Battery is ok tried to jump, no luck, put in different battery no luck.


First thing is to check is the ignition fuse/relay under the hood for a blown fuse or bad relay. If everything is ok then set parking brake with truck in park/netural and have someone to turn the ignition over to start and at the same time use a test light to check for fire at the starter solenoid. If no fire then the ignition switch or netural switch on transmission is causing the problem. If you do have power to the starter solenoid then the problem would be either the solenoid or the starter drive locked up on the flywheel. Be sure to remove the negative wire from the battery if you need to remove the starter. Hope this will help you.

95 jeep cherokee country 6 cyl auto. wont crank all the time


Bad solenoid i would guess. Not making a connection there. Any basic wiring and ignition switch problems should be alleviated by jumping the starter with a screwdriver. I would check the solenoid and starter brushes

My 1990 honda civic wont start it is getting spark and also fuel to the injectors


if your car turn over and it sound like it want to start then i think it is your ignition coil so got car scrap yard get another that is your vehicle and put it in.
