Not getting any fuel to carb

This search will go pretty quickly. The fault will be between the gas tank and the carburetor. Check the gas cap (that it is venting), the pet (that it is open and flowing), Unplug the fuel-line from the carb and check that fuel is flowing freely, and then remove the bowl, from the carb and check the "Needle and Seat", Inspect then and check that they are operating normally. Write back with any questions, good luck.

How to remove gas lines from pet ****

If the lines have Harley clamps on them, you will need to carefully cut them off with a set of side cutters. Twist the line back and forth while pulling on it. You will need a special tool to clamp the lines if you replace the old clamps with new ones from Harley.

Can not get my pet **** out of the tank

Fuel filter attached to pit-caulk swells up with age. Most of the time ruining filter that is replaceable. After nut has been loosened all-of the way, pull down twisting to remove from tank. Add new screen filter, will fit threw tank- pit-calk- hole with room to spare. Helps having empty fuel tank to keep from fuel spill. Or just work fast on cold engine then clean up spilled gas with rag! No smoking ! No sniffing of gas soaked rags! No problem Ha! Ha!

How to change fuel filter for f150 super cab 2002

The fuel filter is located just ahead of the fuel tank on the driver side. It's tucked inside the frame. You'll need to go to the parts store and get the special tool to release the lines. You push the tool in where the lines and the filter push together. This will release the line. Sometimes it takes a little finessing. Remove the fuel filter. Push the fuel lines on the new one. That's it. It's a good idea to release the fuel pressure before starting all this. Otherwise you'll end up with gas spraying all over for a second.

Take care.

VTX 1300R 07 ran out of gas and won't start, put fuel in it.

Does your bike have a petcock?

If so you have to prime the fuel bowls with gas by opening the pet **** for a minute until the fuel bowls are full of fuel THEN you set your choke if you have a manual choke THEN start the bike.

Trying to remove a fuel filter From a 2001 VW beetle. How does it release from the fuel line?

VERY CAREFULLY - If you break the quick disconnects on the fuel lines it will cost you a fortune!!! 500.00 + because they have to string NEW FUEL LINES. - I have replaced the fuel filter a couple of times - I have a 2000 beetle with a 1.8 Turbo. The fuel lines are pressurized so you will need to relieve the pressure before you try and remove the filter or you will get a face full of gas. The filter comes off by pushing the fuel line toward the filter and then pushing the quick release button on the fuel line. The fuel line should then decouple - the filter lives under the car near the right rear tire (just in front) Good luck and be careful

Removing harley davidson ultra classic gas tank

Drain the fuel either by siphening or removing the cross over tube at the front of the tank and letting it drain that way or just block off those cross over lines and leave the fule in the tank for removal.

0) remove seat
1) drain fuel
2) undo cross over line (bottom front of gas tank.
3) shut off pet **** and remove fuel line from pet ****.
4)there should only be 2 bolts holding the tank on, one at the top front of the tank and one at the back of the tank.

All in all a pretty easy (but possibloy messy) job.
