SOURCE: WHEN MY GSXR 750 SRAD GET TO 215 DEGREES IT BEGINS

Hi Datprboi1

I think you may have an electrical problem connected to the radiator cooling fan as 215 F is about the temperature that this will start so as to cool the engine. So it may possibly be the fan motor or the sensor switch. Good Luck

I have a 1997 gsxr 750 srad and it has the standard tokka front break calipers, problem is they stick ,My question is can I fit a different set of calipers and what make are good and will fit .

Hi, Nick those calipers worked fine for 20 years if they are sticking a little rebuild them with a new caliper kit, it;s a lot cheaper for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Got a suzuki gsxr srad 2000 model went out for a ride today since i brought the bike 2 weeks ago and i let her warm up with the choke up must of forgot to put it back down for the ride and now it wont...

Around 2000 was the first year for fuel injection for the GSXR 750. It really isn't a 'choke' in the true sense of the word. It's a device that causes a high idle similar to an 'enrichener circuit' to warm up the bike engine. There should be no damage to the engine by leaving it on for a short ride so I'm thinking there was an unlerlying issue with the bike that the previous owner left undisclosed.

Around 2003 that device was abandoned due to the advancement of technology in fuel injection and was no longer needed.

After typing this response I just noticed the original post date was in 2012 and I'm sure the bike has been either repaired, sold or crashed by now but maybe this answer will be helpful to someone else.....

I have a 1999 suzuki gsxr-750 srad,it is a great bike but is it supposed to **** hard when the clutch is FULLY engaged when shifted into 1st gear?and where do i pour the clutch fluid if it uses any?

There should a removable cap near the clutch lever. It should be held on with two or three screws. This would be your clutch cylinder. Any problems give me a shout.

My suzuki gsxr 600 srad started to over heat. wont start. the engine turns over and plugs are sparking but wont start. HELP PLEASE!

One, or more, of the three necessary ingrediants for combustion are missing: fuel, compression, and a spark (at the right time).
You said that it started to overheat. Find out why. Then, check the engine's compression. You need at least 140 psi of compression, in every cylinder, for the engine to start and run. Low compression indicates either the need for a valve adjustment - or serious engine repairs.
