I ran out of gas in my 05 trailblazer and now it's running very badly, misfiring and using lots of gas

You may have had some gunk in the tank. When you ran out it could have sucked up all those particles, plugging your filters; possibly even the sock over the fuel pump in the tank. Start by changing the fuel filter that is in-line on the underside of the vehicle.

Why it has trouble starting the first time every day, but works fine later, and runs good

If it only gives trouble after standing unused for several hours, I would suspect the gas lines, possibly. After sitting for several hours, if your gas lines are already gunked up, then it's difficult to get the fuel to the engine after sitting for several hours. Once you use it, and warm it up, then it's not as difficult getting fuel through gunked up lines. Just a possibility.

How do I test my map sensor on my 1990 honda accord

the map sensor would probably throw a code if it were bad. they do sometimes get gunked up and dont read the right air volume. you might want to check the fuel rail and injectors to make sure they aren't going bad on you. also fuel pump and filter and fuel line, you could have a kink.

THE CAR IDOLS GREAT BUT IT CUTS OUT AFTER YOU HIT 3500 RGAS FILTER NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BEPMS FIXED ALL THE VACCUME LEAKS AND PUT ON A NEW

Check your in line fuel filter as you may have gunk settled in the lower part of the filter. When you accelerate, the gunk gets pushed toward the outlet of the fuel filter blocking fuel flow. When you let the car sit for a few minutes the junk settles out and allows some fuel to flow.

Every thing has been checked - new plugs, sensor, pump, injectors all working fine - but the car turns over just won't fire - Could bad gas cause this? - Car was running fine turned off at work came out 8...

I would suspect water in the gas, as the injection treatment wouldn't affect it like this. Take a sample of the gas from the test port on the fuel rail that's on the intake manifold. You should be able to see if there's water in the gas.

Vehicle starts then stalls out like it is out of gas then will not start. let sit for awhile then starts and runs for a minute or so then stalls out again.

Sounds as if your fuel pump is not operating correctly are has gone on the fritz. Of course it also could be your fuel line filter has been clogged up to the point of not letting the fuel flow. I changed two fuel pumps in a ford until I checked the fuel line filter and found it clogged. What it would do was to start and run at low speeds for a few miles, but when I accelerated it would force the gunk in the fuel line filter up to the end and block the gas flow. When I would let it sit for about ten minutes, gravity took over and settled the gunk in the lower part of the filter and fuel would flow as long as the fuel pressure was low.

Check the fuel filter first, then the fuel pump. I think that all of the fuel pumps are now in the gas tank and is a dickens to replace.

Rough start, won't stay running. Got bad gas at

Drain the tank of the old fuel completely, try to drain the fuel lines as best you can. Whilst the tank is empty, if you can remove the fuel pump and clean out the filter for debris or gunk. Pull out the spark plugs and see if they have fouled, don't try cleaning them just replace. I have found once a plug is fouled, it is best to just bite the bullit and buy new ones as issues can happen again.

Engine not getting fuel

There may be a screen in the tank pickup. Since you are new to 2 cycles- swish the tank back and forth before using it to remix the oil. You can open the fuel pump and see if it has something in it. If you have the motor connected to the fuel line when the fuel pump is off you can blow through the fuel line to see if it is clear. Remember there are check balls in the connectors and you need to have the hoses connected to get flow.

I have 1988 subaru Gl AWD it says on air intake that it is a F i

This sounds like it may be as simple as cleaning the water or gunk out of the gas tank which is what I always do 1st because it's easy and inexpensive.
If your fuel is contaminated with gunk, grime, water and/or bottom junk like rust this will cause stalling!
Try spraying a can of starter fluid in the air intake and see if it runs! If it does, it's most likely bad fuel or clogged injectors so....
Fill the tank with High Test, Add some dry gas and a good fuel system cleaner or 2 or 3 and this should dissolve all the gunk and clean the injectors! Read & follow the cans' instruction carefully.
If this cures the problem never let your gas tank get below 1/4 and especially never run it to empty as this is when the gunk and/or water will enter the system!
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!
