Hi Billy. Normally I would not even think too much about your signals and engine problem without some more info however, I know this is like apples and oranges. Guy couldn't keep his off road 4 wheeler running which has 'turn signals' on it too!? Don't ask me! Anyway, the thing would run as long as you didn't give it too much gas too fast. Lights dimmed when you did as well. What we found was that greenish colored corrosion that copper wires get where they are attached to a connector or pin before they're hooked up to whatever. My point is look for any corroded connections in the obvious places then look under the seat, the frame, anywhere there might be a plug connector and try to feel for loose connections. It can be a time consuming task but before you have parts changed and expensive mechanical troubleshooting done take the time you have and try looking for the obvious. We found a wire that had plastic wrap by the factory at a point where the wire branched into two. It looked questionable only because the wrap had begun to unravel. In the wrap was a wire that was exposed to the elements and had turned green and corroded. We were able to cut it back and reconnect it. The thing now pulls the front wheels off the ground. Hey, its just an idea that worked for us.Good luck and let the forum know how you make out. Donald Hosford

Turn signal fail and lose power

You may have developed a short circuit or an electrical component failure that increased the load on the alternator thus reducing available engine power. Since the turn signals failed check that circuit and all other accessory circuits or accessories that are attached directly to the battery.

Dodge Durango engine knocking and check engine light

P0300 is a Random Misfire
P0302 #2 Cylinder Misfire
U1120 The code U1120 means, lost wheel distance message. The powertrain control module(PCM) is not
receiving a signal from the anti-lock brake module. The problem could be a short in the bus circuit,
the PCM or the anti-lock brake module. This type of problem is best diagnosed by the dealer or a
local shop with the proper diagnostic scanning equipment. Hope this helps.

1997 concorde. Turned ignition on/off/on/off/on and received code: 1-2-5-4-5-5 I can not find this code online. Driving down the road it just quit running.

You have three codes there
12 - Memory standby power recently lost (Recently disconnected the battery, always appears this code (not problem))
Power loss light: Off
Limp-in mode: None

54 - No fuel injector sync pickup signal during engine rotation
Power loss light: On
Limp-in mode: Logic module will guess at injector timing

Possible Causes
Bad connection or wiring - Check the wiring and connections between the hall effect sensor (located underneath the distributer cap) and the logic module. Check the continuity of the two 3 conductor cables coming out of the sensor--these are prone to fatiguing and breaking inside the insulation where they exit the sensor if the cables are not properly tied down. You may be able to resolder them. Clean and regrease any corroded connectors with dielectric grease and repair any shorts.

Hall effect sensor failure - Check the two, flat 3 conductor cables coming out of the sensor. These often fatigue where they exit from the sensor. Upon replacing the sensor, make sure the cables are clipped or tied to the distributor cap shroud (or elsewhere) so they do not swing around.

Diagnostic Method - Trigger Parameters
- Engine cranking or running (signal coming from ignition reference sensor)
- No signal from the fuel injector sync pickup sensor

Results If Component Fails: Fault code 54 is stored. The engine will stall and will not start.

55 - End of message (Test Finished)
Power loss light: Off
Limp-in mode: None

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answeerr).

Our new digital LCD tv occasionally suffers from picture breaking up and even total loss of signal, after some time, 5 to 15 minutes the signal is restored. Fiddling with the aerial run and connections has...

Tune to a strong channel.
Go into the menu. Find the Channel or Antenna whatever your tv calls it. Set the signal strength display.
If the signal strength show good and your picture is lost then a problem may be in the tv.
More than likely the antenna is not picking up a strong signal. Try rotating it some.

You can go to www.tvfool.com to see what stations are in your reception area.

Left turn signal comes on when I turn the ignition then doesn't work

I am having the same issue on a 2005 FLHRCI Road King Classic. Basically the left turn signal comes on when I start the engine. It will not cancel by pushing the left turn signal button. However, if I push the right turn signal button the left will go off and the right will start blinking. Sometimes, this same action starts all four signals blinking (like the emergency flashers). It is very erratic. I have Kuryakan pancea rear taillights and brake light. The brake light went out so I went a bought a new brake/taillight with a new adapter. Brake lights work now but the blinker problems happens whether the back lights are connected or not. Front turn signals are stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when I put the turn signal on either left or right (doesn't matter) the car shuts off. Doesn't matter if I am driving down the road or sitting still. Just barely hitting the turn signal switch...

From what I've been told, the late 90s and up GM cars have the main steering column wiring harness bundled. It runs down the steering column, into the engine bay, and under the battery. Take a look at the area around the battery to see if it is leaking. If the battery is leaking, the fluid is both corrosive and conductive. If it leaks onto the harness, it may have eaten the wire jacketing on the harness wires. In that harness will be the wires for both your turn signals and your ignition switch. If they're shorted together, when you activate the turn signals, you may be killing the ignition.
