if the stick goes into the top of the box , pull the turret and fix the shift lever pivot
it the shifter is through linkage , fix the linkage where it has come off
your gear selector linkage cable has come adrift from the linkage bracket just below the battery tray ,you can temporarily fix with two cable ties ,but will need to replace one of the two cables one is for neutral and the other is to select gear
I had the same problem on my 05 HUMMER. I got under truck and saw that the linkage bushing on shifter cable had come off the shifter. i put it back and was able to shift gears again. I moved the truck and it came off again. I had to get a eight dollare part from Advane Auto parts to fix problem
had the same sorta problem with my one, i replaced the las part of the linkages thats connecte to the gearbox, that helped with it. also check to see if the blots holding ur gear stick in place are tight
Hey there..my name is Keith..and in your transmission..there is a parking cog..and its not in your transfer case..and either its wore out..or you vehicle needs some shift linkage adjustment..or the linkage has gotten bent from 4 wheeling..and i hope this helps..if not..please write back
loosen up the linkage at the transmission a little,click the linkage i click on the transmission(shift it manually to reverse),put the gear selector in the car in reverse,then tighten the linkage.see if that helps.

maybe has a broken linkage or the bolt came lose.
Check if you can engage hall the gears pushing the linkage by hand,engine ranning and same one pressing the clutch!that way you can have same idea wath is wrong?!
