Question about 2001 Yamaha V Star Classic
Ran great, all of a sudden won't fire up, let sit then it started. week later it won't start; gets fuel(new filter), gets fire(new plugs), turns over easily, just won't start now.
NOT AT ALL LESS THAN $300!! This is a major fix, and will cost you about $95/hr x 4 hours PLUS (disposal fees, etc.) as well as over $600+ in parts. I just had mine done 2 months ago- cost me $995!

It's common problem in those bikes. starter clutch gear.at the dealership about $150 labor and $100 parts.
