Make sure all the bulbs are working in the turn signal. Some front turn signals will use two or more bulbs per side. If any one of these bulbs are burned out it will cause the turn signal to flash at a fast rate. It also could be a bad control lighting control switch a.k.a. multi-function switch.

SOURCE: electrical problem

Find the ground wire on one of the lights and add another ground wire to a good clean metal surface and see if that fixes the problem. It defently sounds like a ground problem at one of the lights.

SOURCE: chevy trailblazer - brake lights do not work

try checking the brake light switch attached to the brake pedal, very common problem. has about 5 contacts in it ,they all operate different things. If you have a scan tool with live data readings you can watch them all. also check fuses and bulbs ,but you say the signals work so that seems ok.

SOURCE: how to replace front turn signal bulb

its easy. when the sinal flashes fast its just telling you a light is out. there might be 2 ways to fix this. open the truck look for the housing for the lights. now you may have to just turn the harnest where the wires are. or you just nee a phillps screw driver and unscrew the plastic cover off.

I have 2001 buick lesabre limited. The left turn signal light stays on constantly on my dash and flashes fast when signaling. I replaced all 4 turn signal lamps in front and still stays lit and fast.

Did you check and see if they were working? If side lights are part of the turn signal, blown bulbs there will cause this also. If one doesn't work, look at the plug. bend and clean the tabs inside it to contact the bulb. If a broken wire, they usually break at the plug. Check for power and ground at the plug.

When break pressed turn signal turns stays on and doesnt flash

My first guess would be a ground problem. The bulbs are mounted in plastic sockets and grounded to the car by a black wire. If one socket is not grounded it will try to ground thru a different socket.
I would check for voltage and ground on each socket in the back.

Left blinker flash fast, hit brake left blinker goes out left taillight goes out but both backup lights come on

Usually a fast flashing signal is because one of the bulbs is burned out or shorted out. If the signal and brakes use the same light which many cars do then check the wiring to it and replace bulb. If burns out again then it has a short between the signal switch and the actual light or the brake wiring to it is shorted.
