Need to charge battery, not sure where it is?

Most motorcycle batteries are under the seat. Depending on what seat you have, the seat might have to be removed completely. Try removing the side panels on either side of the seat first to see if the battery posts are accessible.

How do you remove the battery from a Suzuki van van 125 motorbike? mine is flat and i need to remove it to charge it up again.

On my TW125 Yamaha very similar to the Van Van. the battery is under the seat. There are 2 6mm bolts that fix the seat to the sub frame. Try using a torch or light and look under the seat from the chain side. The only other method of seat fixing i am aware of on Suzuki bikes involves removing the plastic panels under the seat and this reveals the seat fixings. Please remember when you remove the battery undo the negative lead first. Please do not use a charger with an output of more than 1 amp. When you refit the battery please connect the positive lead first.

If the recharged battery works OK please check the charging circuit is OK. Connect a volt meter across the battery terminals and see if the volts rise to about 14.5 as the revs are increased. Hope this helps

Remove battery on a ford transit 2006 van

Hi

is this the type under the drivers seat? if so it is very tricky to get them out, persevere though and you wil get it. move the drivers seat as far forward as possible undo the connections and bracket and it will come out. by the way are you wanting to charge it up?? or are you replacing it?

Get back to me because there is another way without removing the battery.

How do I remove the seat to get to the battery to replace/re-charge the battery on my 2006 honda 650 vlx..?

The battery can be accessed by removing the right side cover and unbolting the smaller battery cover underneath the fuse box. The seat is removed by taking out the two bolts that hold it in place. I believe the two bolts are underneath the fender and go up into the seat You should not have to remove the seat to charge or remove the battery.

My battery is weak, and I need to charge it. How do I remove the seat from my 05 m50 blvd

There should be a place to put your ignition key on the side of the bike just below the seat. Turn the key and pull up on the seat at the same time. Good luck.

Removing the driver seat

Unlock the pillion pad, remove the allen key from under it, then remove the two semi circular grommets at the rear of the riders seat. This will expose the two fixings that hold the seat in position, they can now be undone with the allen key.
