STARTED BOGGING AT 1/8TH TANK OF GAS FILLED UP TANK STILL BOGGED FOR A MILE THEN STRAIGHTENED OUT WHAT CAUSED THIS
When a tank is empty there is no fuel for the pump and the system runs low on fuel pressure Going up hill the fuel runs away from the pick up line and the pump sucks air
After filling it takes a while to empty the air out of the system to allow full pressure again. It is an extremely costly practice to run so low on fuel as it may lead to a pump replacement

his problem is caused by the failure of the circuit board that operates the tach needle, you will have to remove the instrument panel then the tach from the panel and send it out for repair to an authorized Nissan electronics repair center, contact your local dealer for the name and number.

When you ran it out of gas you may have ruined the fuel pump. They are very touchy. you can check it by having someone listen under the car by the fuel tank and you turn the key to the on position, be sure not to try and start it. When you turn the key to the on position you should hear the pump prime its self. If you dont the pump is bad if you do then you might look into the fuel filter it may have gotten clogged when it ran out of gas.

there will most surely be more damage if you try to turn it over. do not until it is properly replaced and timed. the valves will become bent and this would require a top end overhaul. hope this helps!

tune up is a good place to start if it hasn't been done recently. you might want to have a fule system tune up done as well

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
Two things can cause this problem. I do suspect that you have fuel flooding. When you're uphill you tend to press the accelerator and while you floor it there's a lot of fuel coming in but can't be burned enough. The solution is to replace the spark plugs for it can be worn. Once the plugs are replaced you'll have a better fuel burning.
The other common cause is a faulty torque converter. The torque converter controls the shifting of the car. If the torque converter fails to shift you tend to press the accelerator and you'll surely have fuel flooding. Have the torque converter replaced too and you'll be good.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!
