Ive recharged the batt. and it started the bike i was able to ride it all day then that night it did it again!
Check battery terminals to ensure they are tight with good connection (maybe clean corrosion) if that does fix it permanently, do a load test on your battery to check condition. had a similar issue with my Honda ST1300 - loose battery terminal! (I'm guessing the buzz is the starter motor solenoid- enough power to throw that in but not to turn the starter)

buy a new battery shelf life is not 2 yrs the only other thing that would have saved this battery is a trickle charger or battery maintainer
SOURCE: Bike won't start
so where did you find the bad ground, and if I wire the negitive side directly to the frame can that be a permanant fix? Myne is doing the exact same thing
SOURCE: Bikes dead!! Battery wont charge, been charging all night Help!
You didn't mention if you charged the battery in- or out of the bike. If H-D has a modern alternator, it may have failed diodes that are draining the battery and stealing charge current if charged while connected. If the battery was made in China . . . oh, well.

You need to determine if the solenoid is delivering power to the starter motor terminal when it just clicks. You need to have either a test light or a voltmeter to read 12 volts DC. If, when it clicks, and the meter shows 12 volts at the starter terminal, then the starter motor is in trouble (it could be bad brushes or an open segment on the armature commutator). If you see no voltage, then check the battery side of the solenoid to see if the normally present at all times 12 volts disappears when the starter is tried. If that is so, check the battery cable for a bad wire or connection all the way to the battery. If it stays 12 volts, then the solenoid is bad and should be replaced. Hope that gets you started!
