Started off with coming on when I changed the lower gears, now just seems to come on and sometimes stay on randomly ...
It sounds like that might be a short in the wiring somewhere, I'm not an expert on cars and trucks, but being a computer geek, usually when something pops on randomly and or stays on unexpectedly, it tends to be a short in wiring somewhere, however I would recommend getting a second or even a third opinion on this.

if the air bag stays on that means you have a problem with the air bag system, and you need to have it diagnose, but if you just bought the sedona from a used car dealer they have to fix it, it is part of the safety inspection requred by law

The problem is the car think the park brake is on (intermittently). I would check the park brake switch, perhaps it's loose, or perhaps the park brake is pushed down to the first "click" spot. Also check the wiring connection to the switch, and the wiring nearby. Good luck!

sounds like your vehicle speed sensor is going out. it's the modern equivilent of a speedometer cable. it tells the computer how fast your going which the computer uses to determine shift points, abs function, and speedometer readings. they usually act up a bit before they go out. it confuses the computer. normally located in the extension housing at the rear of the transmission where the spedometer cable would be on an older vehicle

Replace rear brake pads. If that doesn't help, remove the plastic console around the parking brake lever and adjust the pull on the lever. It's probably so loose that it's trigger the light.
This is not normal, looks like someone accidentally drove several miles with the brake on.
