- the easiest way is to unmount the rear shock absorber (1 screw at the bottom) and rise the Vespa to reach the spark plug....
this is far better than to reach it from above....

I just bought vespa 50cc 4 stroke,4000 km, used one !i hear whistle on acceleration please help

possible air leak, check your vacuum lines. There should be one coming off the carb and gas tank. You may want to check your wheel hub bearings and rear brake shoes. Now that you provided a little more details about your problem, i would forget about the vacuum lines, and look at those wheel bearings.

I had a 1/4 hp vespa air compressor, motor is running well but no air getting in to storage tank.

Do you have an air leak or the compressor may be bad and not pumping air. as it runs.

After a few miles it will die and it acts like its out of gas

Check that the gas tank is vented. If the vent is blocked then the fuel being used by the engine will gradually cause a vacuum in the tank and it will cease to flow, causing the the engine to cut out. Most motorcycles are vented through a small hole in the gas cap or a separate hose to atmosphere. It has to be vented someway.
just look around until you find it.

I have an et2 vespa i put a bit of 98 ron fuelin the tank it ran for about 3 kms then konked out now it wont even start

the Vespa ET2 50 has a two-stroke engine which needs an oil mixture in the gasoline. There are 2 (two) tanks under the seat: 1 is for gasoline and the other for 2T-oil.
If you dont't fill that oil tank the engine will run dry after a couple of miles and the bearings in the motor blow up.
Then you need a complete rebuild of the engine which costs a lot.

Gas overfill - Vespa LX50 won't start

It is unlikely that being unable to start is caused by overfilling the tank.

Remove the spark plug, clean it with a wire brush, and check for a spark. Turn the ignition on, put the spark plug and lead attached against the cylinder head and kick it over. You should have a fat blue spark under the electrode. Check the gap and replace the plug.

Another thing you can check for is either a pinch or an airlock in the fuel line to the carburetor.

I have just bought a 1988 vespa px 125 under the seat there is 2 holes one for the petrol and one that says oil ive put 2 stroke oil in the oil tank and petrol in the petrol tank today i hit 50 and the...

older Vespas without separate Oil-tanks need a premix of 1:50 oil in the gasoline - but yours is an automatic oil-mixer type.
check the oil-level-glass under the seat near the choke.
it must be full of oil - the oil tank can hold about 1 liter of 2-stroke oil. How much oil did you fill in?
Probably the previous owner removed the oil supply tube and filled always an oil-gasoline premix. You better ask him about it. If the tube was removed then there was no oil supplied to your engine and it got stuck and the engine bearings are blown.

Fuel Starvation on 2006 200cc Vespa. Toward end

It's quite easy to get the tank out.
Remove the 4 bolts (2 front and 3 back) on top of the tank under the seat. You can lift the tank out.
replacing the fuel tap is a bit harder as you need to loosen a nut inside the tank, then pull the tap out.
