Question about 2008 Yamaha TTR230
My TTR will start but it is draining the battery, I can charge the battery to start and ride it for half an hour but after i turn it off it won;t start again. what do i need to fix?
Replace your battery with new one because your existing one most likely became faulty with age.Even if you charge it it wont last. It is time for new one.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, pls try recharging the battery again. Remove the connector to the voltage regulator. Start/run the bike. If it lasts more than "3-5 minutes" then you have just confirmed a defective regulator. The voltage regulator would look something like below image.

Yep. Have you tried to use slow charger on your battery to revive it again. Check your charging system because nothing comes in but all goes out.
