How is the seat fasten

Hi Anonymous, there is a male tounge that slides into a female bracket attached to the frame in the front and two nuts that secure it to the rear fender in the back. Remove nuts, lift up on seat and slide backwards. Good luck

I have a slightly older springer, but they are probably the same. The shop manual says in reference to the acorn nuts on top of the spring restraints, "Tighten acorn nuts to 30-35 ft-lbs torque."
