Spark plug problem

Hey whats up too all of you im new my question is I have an 04 ducati 749s I was riding it today went too my friends house then rode too the store down the street from his house on my wa back the bike shut off and I was like what???? So then I tried too start it again then it sounded not right so I had too walk it 3 blocks too my bud's house I got there then I took the fairings off 1st i checked the spark plus and both of them had the prong missing so my question is did it cause damage orwhat ???? can any one help also I got new plugs the bike started the check engine light was on then it went away bike sounded right then i shut it off i got cleaned up got ready and when I went too turn the bike on it sounded the same does any one have the answer for this ?? Id appreciate it if anyone can help me .....
