Below are the stock plugs used by the factory. Both NGK and Denso plugs were used. You would need a cross reference chart to go to a Champion plug. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Hi. I got a ford mondeo just seen its got champion spark plugs went to owners guide it recommends. motorcraft plugs.would that make a def.?


No, you just need to make certain that the plugs are the same style and heat range. Naturally, Ford wants you to use their brand of plugs, but Champion is a reputable manufacturer.

Anthony you can use any kind of spark plug brand as long as its the same size. Sometimes they have a longer sparking element and this will catch on the piston. Just be careful.

Best spark plugs for a toyota EE98


you can use what the factory has in the car or you can use ngk plugs,nipondenso plugs.ac plugs work well and have had good luck with champion plugs.these mentioned plugs will work well with your car.make sure you use the correct plug for your car as listed in the plug book which ever manufacture you choose.

Chrysler Voyager seem function well on Champion spark plugs. I had the same issue and only after buying Genuine Champion Plugs, the car resonded with power

Tune up specs needed


1968 Barracuda with a 318cid; The 5th digit of the vin will be (F) for the engine-318 2v rated @ 230hp.

Compression pressure--125-155 max variation 25
Spark plugs--Champion N-14Y @ .035" gap-torqued @ 30ft. lb.
Timing--man. trans @ 5 degrees btdc, auto trans @ 10 degrees btdc.
Points-- .014"-.019" gap--Dwell--28-33 degrees, max variation is 2 @ 1500 rpm--Spring tension--17-20 ounces.
Fuel pump pressure 5-7 lbs. manual pump
Hydraulic Lifters--no valve clearances
Firing order--1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 counterclock wise rotation
Idle speed--Turn headlights on highbeams and turn a/c off
500rpm for man trans--500rpm auto trans in neutral.

Left bank of the engine (driver's side), 1-3-5-7 Right bank (passenger side), 2-4-6-8
