Fs 509 cat eye pocket bike wiring where all the wire suppose to be ?

I cant get the lights to work nothing work for head light , tail light blinker starter,and speed meter it has all the wire i just dont know where they all belong

This is problem cant be solved by changing head light. You need to replace wiring of your bike. This problem is occur because of short-circuit in wiring.

I have a 98 VF2 750C Magna with a similiar problem as stated above. The starter switch is a quad pole switch which runs your accessories with the key on and also starts the bike. With some care take the switch assy. apart and the head lamp assy. Find the wire harness connecting the switch to the head lamp by following it down the trunk of the steering column. Disconnect and clean any corrosion (use baking soda and water with a small brass or steel brush) blow dry with compressed air. Check with multimeter between the contacts on the switch and the associated pins on the plug (easy enough they are color coded). Check each contact between pins and then to ground by touching a solid metal object with one lead of multimeter. All the wires should have continuity to each pin if not you have an open in the wire harness between the switch and headlamp plug. The only wire that should check to ground is the Blue/white wire (ground wire). If any other wires check to ground you have a short to ground replace switch assy and harness (57.00 @ Honda Direct). Out side of these measures you can check between the forward to contacts on the switch and the associated pin in the headlamp while depressing the switch. If you have no continuity as I do then the internals of the switch are bad so replace switch assy. There is a new switch assy. available at Honda direct that replaces the old type found in your bike.

The problem is not in your CDI, Solenoid or Battery most likely since you can short the solenoid as seen by the switch you have installed and the bike starts and runs.

High mount brake light works, but tail brake lights dont 2000 mercury mountaineer

I'd check the bulbs and wires on tail lights. Sometimes bulbs go out of place and wires corrode. In my car (not a mercury though) I had to give a little smack on the light to get it working. Of course, eventually I cleaned all wire connections (including ground wire) inside the light and all works now. I had a problem with one light though so if both tail lights are out it might be wires broken/shorted on the way from splitting point where one section heads to the high mount brake light and other to the tail light.
Would be good to check the fuses too, they might have different ones. If blinkers and reverse also don't work then it's more likely wire problem like I stated before.

When key is in the start Position on a 2001 Suzuki Marauder 800 The head light is on both front blinkers and Tail light is on are the rear blinkers suppose to also be on?

your bike is a grey import with us spec's
on the European bikes the bikes have a on/off switch for the lights
on USA spec bikes they come on with the ignition
you may also have a red light that comes on
on your dash when you go over 80mph
your rear indicators are not meant to be on
hard work to change this about and
and is not for the faint hearted
unless you are a very competent person who knows what
they are doing leave it
rule of thumb is if it works dont fix it
it is ok for the European specs

Brake lights won't work when i have my tail light fuse in. if it is out blinkers and brake light work but no taillight

check the earth hasn't corroded of the tail light maybe take a new wire to earth ,that is the frame

Blikers only work with running lights off

You have the tail light you just installed wired wrong or if the new tail light is a LED tail light your looking at the LED's possibly not drawing enough power to make the flasher work. change the flasher to a LED specific one.

deffo wireing fault i would re wire the break lights and indecater lights as ther is some wires bin put in the wrong place

The front park lights work correct? If the front park lights work than there is not a problem with the light switch since the brown wire from the switch supplies power to the front park lights, front side markers, and the rear taillights. There should be twelve volts on the brown wire from the headlight switch with the connector plugged in and the park lights turned on. If this is true that there is a problem with the wiring to the back of the vehicle. A thorough inspection of the harness should reveal the problem. The dim break and blinkers support the above. High resistance also know as corrosion, in the wires or connections would cause this problem.

We borrowed a trailer. A "mechanic" connected the trailer lights to our truck - clipping wires in the process. Now, the wires are too short to stay connected. Is there a diagram/color codes for...

THE truck rear light wires are as follows dark blue is rt turn light blue is left turn and brown is park lights. the trailer wiring would be brown park and yellow is one side turn left is another cant remember off top my head which side those are.

Need to reconnect tail lights,blinkers,stoplight 08 honda crf450x

CRF450x rear wiring is as follows:
Green/yellow stripe-tail light only earth
green-blinkers+tail light.Common neutral.
brown- tail light power
blue- right blinker
orange- left blinker

Make sure the neutral wire from the blinkers are connected on a single line to the green wire from the tail light.

I'm not sure with after market lights so if there is not a connection for the earth there may be a screw point.If you can take the lense of the light you should be able to see the connection points.
