CAUTION LOCKING WITH REAR DOOR CHILDPROTECTORS Turn the lock knob to the "LOCK" position as shown on the label. switch needs to be replace. the ignition key works starts failing just like the starter itself it starts ok at first and starts to go every time you try to start your car until it goes no more. replace as soon as possible or you will end up calling a locksmith.

Have you tried getting a new key cut? Worn keys can do that. Other than that I would say a worn out ignition lock cylinder. Mike

CHECK ALL THE FUSES WITH A GOOD FUSE TESTER, UNDER THE HOOD & INSIDE THE CAR. TURN ON THE IGNITION SWITCH DURING THE TEST.

Lock then unlock the doors with the power lock button, with all doors closed (key not in ignition). If this doesnt work, try again using the key to lock and unlock from the driver door, with all doors closed.

Try spraying some silicon lubricant into the keyhole and slide the key in and out a few times.

If this does not work you may have to remove the interior door panel and trouble shoot the lock mechanism.

It's also possible the lock cylinders are worn and need to be rebuilt. This can be done by a qualified locksmith (look for a AAA certified locksmith). Or you can order new lock cylinders and get them re-keyed to match your ignition key.

Is your steering wheel locked? Turn the key as much as you can, then turn the steering wheel and see if it releases the lock. You should be able to completely turn the key after this.

You may have to drill out the lock pin in the cylinder. This is the pin that you have to push in to remove the cylinder.

Look for a certified diagnostic centre so your car can be properly checked. I suspect that it has a security code issue. It can only be corrected that way. Try it out and get back to me. +2348023080045

Their are two fuses that power this system. One is a 15 amp gauge fuse and the other one is a 30 amp main power fuse. You can also check the power main relay, your ignition switch, or i could possibly be a fault in the wiring
