SOURCE: The kick start on my 50cc moped has become jammed.

Take the case into which the kickstart goes in, I believe that your kickstarter gear (the small gear found at the other end of the kickstarter, behind the case) has gone out of it's position, thus locking itself in position.

2. On cold start up twist about 15 times on your throttle, as you do that the accelerator pump in carb will shot gas in cylinder, I have a 2003 yx426 & 2005 yz450 have to do to both of them when cold out to get started

I have a jonway 125cc moped it won't start and the battery seems too be flat I have tried to charge it but it doesn't make any difference, the weather is quite wet and bike is left out when I&

try removing your spark plug and turning over the engine if you can see a spark your plug should still be ok if its wet around your plug it may be flooded try drying it off and trying again if you want to test your battery for charge i usually have 2 screwdrivers which i touch both electrodes of the battery then touch the screwdrivers together whilst taking care to not touch the metal of the screwdrivers if you get any spark at the contact point of the screwdrivers its not your battery if not charge it then try again if your batterys flat your lights wont work though also give your air filter a clean out that could stop it starting, also check your fuel is still getting to the carbs ok i hope this helps im ok with motorbikes but im no mechanic i know the basics good luck and be careful undertaking any work on fuel or electric use insulated drivers

if that is ok replace your crankshaft postion sensor as it tells the cars ecu when and to what cylinder to fire spark to faulty crankshaft postion sensors 99 percent of the time wont allow car to start or very hard starts the other 1 percent
