There is no adjustment on the hydraulic clutches...if it drags, bleed the system and check slave piston for leaks...if it slips, check that the piston in the slave isn't sticking...if that's ok check the friction plates for wear.

I just changed teh clutch plates on my Honda CFR450R and now I do not have any action in my clutch lever. Is this clutch hyro assisted. If it is where can I bleed the air our and get my clutch lever...

If it has a clutch cable and not a pipe then you need to look at clutch assembly ,cause it could be that the clutch plate is put the wrong way in,thus not putting pressure on pressure plate or pressure plate is shot and needs to be replaced. If it is Hydro then it will have an hydro pipe and a container for brake fluid level

I have an ATV 2000 Yamaha Kodiak YFM400AM(C). A few months ago after warming up it stalls when I PUT IT IN GEAR. I had to adjust choke idle up to engage into gear and go. It still does that and now when I...

For the first problem. Most likely the clutch is holding to tight and needs to be adjusted. Next problem. Check this first. Check the
connections on the battery post, make sure they are clean and tight. Next the carburetor may have flooded and hydro locked the piston. Make sure the battery is fully charged and the battery post are clean and tight. Retry starting the engine, if you only have the clicking sound, move the ATV to a location where gasoline cannot be ignited by a flame or spark including the sparkplug wire. Remove the sparkplug, move the sparkplug wire into a location where it is not close to ground so it will not create a spark. Try to crank the engine and see if it will spin, if it spins it will spew out gas if it was hydro locked. If the engine was hydro locked crank the engine a little more expelling as much gas as possible. Leave the spark plug out for a while so the remaining
gasoline in the cylinder will have time to evaporate. Clean and
reinstall the sparkplug. Try starting the engine, if the engine starts, reset the adjustments you made to the carburetor prior to having the dying problem. If the engine was not hydro locked and will not spin, and you only hear the clicking sound when trying to start the engine, you may have a problem with the starter or starter solenoid should it have a solenoid. I do think the engine will be hydro locked. Provided the battery, was fully charged the battery terminals were clean and the starter circuit is ok.

How to adjust the clutch on ariens hydro 42

If you need the clutch adjusted there is a specific sequence for adjusting the clutch.I would spray with WD-40 or penetrating oil on the clutch movement , on the shaft (just in front of the engine) under the belts, there is only about 1/4" or so movement. Also lube all the linkage pivot points. If you still need to adjust the clutch download the manual with the model and serial number from Ariens.com and follow the procedures in the manual.

This does sounds like your safety switch is bad. But you do need to make sure that your clutch it engaging properly also the adjustment could have been changed by vibration also
