SOURCE: Adjustable rear shocks

There are 2 holes at the base of the shock absorbers. Turn them clockwise for a softer drive. At factory they are setted at 3. THey go from 1 to 6.

SOURCE: Clutch

firstly you will not be able to do it withough a workshop manual to guide you through the process. http://www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/1/Yamaha.aspx

follow that link and put your model bike in and you will see an exploded view of the clutch, if you can figure it out from there good luck, but i would seriously go bye a manual first.

SOURCE: 97 suzuki marauder fork seals problem

Normally no. If the fork seals are leaking when you ratchet the front down on the trailer your seals were bad prior to that. If you are talking about the straps being wrapped around the forks the only thing that they would contact would be the dust covers. The fork seals are actually down inside the fork about 1/4 inch. Have a good day

SOURCE: have a 2004 suzuki marauder. engine starts but

Your idle circuit jet is clogged, you will need to run seafoam fuel additive in your gas tank and see if this clears it up or clean the carbs.

How much combined weight is allowed on the 1999 800 suzuki maurder

As I answered to the same question posted by G. Moore:

"There is no maximum passenger weight capacity listed in the owners manual for my Boulevard S-50, and no maximum passenger weight capacity for the Marauder 800 (which is almost exactly the same bike) listed anywhere that I can find on the internet. The front and rear springs are adjustable for passenger weight, but I would suggest the maximum weight is limited by the rear tire capacity stamped on the sidewall and what weight you feel comfortable handling. Don't forget to include the weight of the motorcycle (about 456 pounds) and the weight of the gasoline (about 6.0 pounds per gallon)."

I have an 01 Suzuki Marauder VZ 800. The rear wheel was making noise like the bearings may have been shot. I took the rear wheel off and the bearings are fine. Could it just need some grease in the hub...

It could just need grease if they don't feel rough. Have you tried putting the wheel on a stand and giving it a spin to see if it makes the noise you heard? Dry bearings can be noisy and from what you describe, you're lucky you caught them before they went bad.

How does the tank come off on a 2001 suzuki vz800 marauder

first take off the seat
when the front seat is removed you will clearly see 2 10 mm bolts holding down the tank...
you must also disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel shut off switch, i plug them with golf tees
perfect fit.

Tyre Pressure

As always, correct pressure depends on the tyre fitted but if it is running with the standard tyres that it had fitted from new then:
Single rider: Front is 1.75 bar (25 PSI) Rear 2.0 (29 PSI)
Fully loaded (Panniers and or pillion passenger) Front 2.0 bar (29 PSI) Rear 2.25 bar (32 PSI)

These settings from the book for a 2006 model, though I imagine that they apply to all with very little if any variation
