It depends on the bike's YEAR/MAKE/MODEL, which you failed to include!

Some bulbs pull out of the socket, some you have to push and turn counterclockwise about 1/4 turn, some the wires go into a connector that releases from the bulb.

How do i remove headlight assembly on 1994 ford taurus?

I believe that on the 90's Taurus you need to remove the headlight housing to change the bulb. There are 3 or 4 screws or nuts that must be removed from the back side. Use a 10 mm socket or wrench. The housing can be pulled forward, away from the car body. Disconnect the wires and/or remove the bulbs.

I need to replace a 2000 jeep cherokee laredo headlight bulb. How do you get the headlight fixture out. I removed the screw that I thought was it but it did not budge... CJ

There is no screw involved. You do not remove the headlight housing. Look for wires going to the back of the headlight you should see a plastic retainer nut, take the nut off, pull out the pigtail connector and twist to the left to remove it from headlight housing, then pull the bulb out and replace. No screwdriver or any tools required.
P.S. Your local parts store usually will do this for you or show you how for free. As long as you buy the bulb from them.

How do I replace the bi-xenon bulb in my 2007 Volvo C70

I just did this on my 2008 C70, which I believe uses the same type of bulb. It's very easy. By the time you do your second one, you can probably do it in less than 5 minuites.

1) Take careful note of the orientation of the headlight houseing retaining pin, HID transformer, and bulb retention device.
2) Refer to the owners manual to pull the headlight housing retaining pin.
3) Pull the headlight housing forward until you can access the wiring harness plug. Push the clip on the top of the plug to unlock, then remove the plug.
4) At this poing the entire headlight housing is detached from the car. Take it indoors and have a beer before the next step.
5) Push back the two spring clips and remove the access door from the back of the headlight housing.
6) At this point in the owners manual, the instructions tell you to refer the problem to an expert and do not provide further details. Shoot you got the darn thing out. And you have a beer in hand. You look like an expert. Let's continue.....
7) The low beam light has a transforer attached to the back of the bulb. Unplug the wires attached to the transformer.
7) Twist the transformer counter clockwise 1/8 turn, and remove the transformer.
8) The base of the bulb is now visiable, but the bulb is held in by a large retaining knurled plastic knob about 1-3/4 inch in diameter. Twiist that knob 1/8 inch turn counter clockwise and remove.
9) The old bulb is now free, and can be removed. Do not touch the glass on the new bulb, but carefully seat it in the same orientation in the housing.
10) Assembly is a reverse of the previous steps. Hopefully you paid attention to the orientation during removal, as the bulb, retaining knob, transformer, and housing retaining pin all are keyed and will fit in one way only.
11) Have another beer, and bask in the admiration of your family and friends, you expert you! Congratulations!

How to replace 9003H2B headlight bulb?

pop the hood. locate where the light you need to replace is located. its in a housing, turn it counterclockwise to free the housing and pull the bulb and housing from the headlight. the old bulb is held on by a clip or 2. free these, then pull it to remove the bulb, then just snap in the new bulb and redo what you did. be careful to not touch the bulb with your fingers, or if you do, to clean the bulb with rubbing alcohol cause the oil on our fingerprints will burn on to the bulb causing problems.

Headlight replacement o5 trailblazern 200

Hi El, Since it's on the passenger side you'll need to remove the air filter housing & filter to get to the housing for the bulbs. Right behind that bulb housing there are two rubber coated caps (those caps are where the bulbs are located) that you'll need to remove. They can be tough to remove so it should be ok to use a flat head screwdriver to GENTLY pry the caps. Just make sure you are GENTLE with it and once it is loose use your hand to turn it counterclockwise about 1/4 turn. Gently pull it out then unplug the wire harness to it. **** IMPORTANT*** Like most headlight bulbs, DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULB WITH YOUR BARE HANDS. Halogens are ruined by our natural oils and it will make your new bulb burn out extra fast. Also: The outside bulb should be the LOW BEAM and the inside should be the HIGH BEAM. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help.

How to change the headlight bulb

Open the hood. Look at top corners of headlight assy, and you will notice two metal "L" shaped holders. Rotate these forward out of their plastic mounts. Pull both up and completely out. With a little side ways jiggling you can now remove the entire headlight assy. Turn the bulb holder clockwise to remove. Gently pry the holding clip to release bulb holder and bulb {they are one piece) from wiring connector. Install new bulb in reverse order. Tip: clean new bulb with rubbing alcohol before installing into headlight housing, because oil from fingers will greatly reduce bulb life. Also many auto part stores will install for free if you buy the bulb from them.

How to change a headlight bulb

The headlight is a one piece housing. There are two pins on the top of the hood, they are generally on each end. lift the two pins up, and the housing will pull out with a little wiggling and by pulling the end closest center of the car out first. The bulbs will be easy to change from behind. Unplug the wire to he bulb you want to change, and some have a clip that hold the bulb in, others you just need to turn slightly and pull out. Insert new bulb and entire housing in reverse order. Replace the pins, from the top that hold entire housing in place, and done.

Hope this helps,

My headlight is out and I want to get the bulb out-how do I get to the hedlight?

I actually have a Acura CL 3.0 and changed the headlights on it 2 weeks ago. The first thing you do after propping the hood is start loosening the plastic fasteners (they should pop off). Once you have them all undone you can remove the entire plastic cover piece.
From there you can look to where the back of the headlights would be and see wires in a clip going into the headlight. There should be a little notch that you need to get the wire removed from the bulb. Simply twist and the old bulb comes out and you just follow the same steps backwards to get the new bulb in.
NOTE: There is a gel you can place on the inside of the plastic adapter to help your bulb from overheating and frying any wires/bulbs.

Headlight bulb replacement

It's easy to change the bulbs. You don't have to remove the bumper.

To start at the left front, jack up the left front of the car, turn the wheel to the right, remove the plastic plugs and two screws holding the plastic fender liner in place (there are two pieces - loosen the front most piece) and pull it down. You will see the back of the headlight housing. Unscrew the caps and install the new bulbs. Reassemble and repeat on the other side.
