SOURCE: Need to know how to
Usually the "driver/left" side of the seat has a lock that your ignition key will open. Gots to bend down pretty far to find it sometimes. Usually under seat a little. This being my experience with motorcycles. Good luck.

Testimonial: "Thanks, Kenneth......but, is it possible to do this with a possibly DEAD battery???? Thanks, so much, for your input!!"
Open the maintenance door, under the seat at beside the flooring where your feett rested, you could see the engine and high tension wire( spark plug wire ). Pull and wiggle the spark plug wire and you could see the thing you seek.
Hope that helps you.
Thanks for using FixYa!

SOURCE: Honda scv 100 won't electric
Make sure the starter button contacts are clean, they are very susceptible to rust. Too bad I just figure that out after opening and cleaning the starter itself, which was quite tricky to put it back in one piece.
