You should be able to contact a dealership with the vin and proof of ownership to get a key code.

Do you know if it's located on the bike anywhere?

it is not anywhere on the bike (too easy for criminals if it gets stolen) if the dealership you contacted sells new kawasaki they should have access to the numbers you need. if not you will need to replace the switch.

Lost ignition key to 1989 gmc truck

If all you did was lose the key, copy down your vehicle identification number (VIN) which is on the dash, and take it and your registration and personal identification to the dealer to prove you are the owner. They can look up what you need and make you a key. :)

Lost keys. How can i get another one?

Go to your car dealership, the same manufacturer than your car to be precise (If you own a Pontiac for instance, go to a Pontiac car dealer), with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which is usually located under the lower part of the windshield on the driver side (It has about 18 digits). Ask them to make a key for you

Need a key for 1985 Nissan pickup

You should be able to give the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to the dealer of a good locksmith and have them make you a key. It should be located on the dash drivers side where you can see it through the glass.

Lost keys - 1997 Crown Vic - How do I drill out the ignition switch?

Before you do any drilling get your vehicle identification number and call the dealership and they might be able to cut you a key.You will probably have to give them some identification to show that you own the vehicle. This would be a lot easier than drilling the lock cylinder out.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I lost the key for my 2001 nissan altima and made a copy that opens the door but does not start the car

The factory key has a chip in it. Without the chip that communicates with the vehicle, it will not start. You will need to go to the dealer, and get the proper key. They may request your vehicle identification number located in the bottom driver side of the windshield.

I have lost the only key to my car a 2002 hyundai elantra, how do i go about getting the code so that i can have another one made

Most dealers should be able to get you a key with your car's vin (vehicle identification number). You will need to provide proof of ownership (they can't sell keys to anyone asking). Your vin can be found on your registration, title, or visible on the dash, looking from outside thru the windshield.Good Luck countrycurt0
