This should help you out a whole bunch. Go to this site and you can download a free PDF service manual. The site may take up to 20 seconds to load the complete list of manuals. www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most all of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language. Please take a moment and rate my answer. Thanks!

The Yamaha manual says: .004" to .006" for the intake and .007" to .009" for the exhaust valves, cold engine. I have included that information, from the manual, below:

SOURCE: need valve clearance specs
The valve clearance (both intake and exhaust) when cold are the same; 0.004 - 0.006 inches (0.10 - 0.15mm).
