yes they should do i have a97 speed triple and daytona bits are the same the speed triple is basically a naked daytona

something with the carburettas, only solution would be to remove them, and take them apart, sounds like your float levels could be stuck

If you look on the back of the headlights, there should be two screws(should be phillips) on the outer upper corner, and inner lower corners of each light. just park it about 20 feet from a flat wall, and have someone about the same weight as you sit on the bike upright, and adjust as needed.
