Blazer rumbling,choking,missing in engine

95 4wd s10 chevy Blazer rumbling,choking,missing in engine was running ok and then i turned it off and when started back up it went from smooth running to sounding like a rumbling ,choking sound, smoke just rolls out of the exhaust when you start it and while running.And won't hardly stay running unless you keep pressure on gas peddle. Have changed gas filter and put injecter cleaner in it but still no change, could it be an injecter blowed or a stopped up catalytic converter? Please help.

Check the fuel pressure regulator. generally "failure" position is full open which will richen up the fuel mixture. also check vacuum line to the regulator for cracks and good connection.

Why won't my Blazer turn on?
Won't start how ? You put the key in the ignition an turn the key to start ,what happens ? Does the starter engage an spin the engine but doesn't start or it does nothing ? When you turn the key on do the lights in the instrument cluster light - check engine , ABS , battery , SRS - air bags , ? If you can't supply more details your best bet mite be to take it to a quailfied repair shop.

What it is is that the engine is running rich, check MAP sensor acts like a choke, make sure vacum hose is good and that it has vacum if ok you'll need to check injector's or the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel line for leaking fuel, the bad thing is that to get to these part's you will have to remove the in-take magifold , after removal of in-take have some one turn key to the on position and look for fuel leak's.

I have a 1988 chevy s10 blazer 4x4. Was running fine and went out to start and it is not getting gas. It turns over but will not start. You put gas in carb it will start but will not keep running.
sounds like its not holding fuel pressure i would check the fuel pump with fuel pressure guage.

small gas engines 101. gas+air+compression+spark=vrrrrrrroooooommmm
i doubt its a fuse. make sure all cylinder have good spark. try and run some seafoam through the gas tank and i would look at the timing - im not sure how you know the timing didnt skip but that sounds like your problem.

As for your choke problem--- Check for blown fuse under dash labeled as choke. If ok then check for faulty fuseable link at starter.

Unplug the turn signal relay from the fuse box and start you engine. Does it still make that noise?
If yes... Put the relay back in, that is not the problem.
If No...Then the relay could be bad, replace it!
