Question about 2004 Yamaha V Star Classic
I have a used 2003 1100 Silverado that I purchased in 2005 that has run great until about a year ago when I noticed that it was having a hard time warming up. Now it just stalls when the choke is off. It has a K&N filter and Yamaha custom pipes. I have cleaned the carbs (nothing visible), changed the plugs, cleaned and oiled the filter, changed the fuel filter and checked fuel screens in tank. I know that there must not be enough air flow but I even removed the air filter and still nothing had changed. Running out of ideas.
Try the fuel shut off turn it to reserve this might work my wifes virago did the same thing and now will only run when it is tuned on reserve.
