My 2005 Honda VTX 1300 R runs great but when I excelerate, I hear a ticking/clicking noise? What could this be from? Could it be my valves? Could the valves be self-adjusting or do they have to be manually adjusted? Is there a DIY manual that I can download for free to solve this problem? Take it back to the shop, if it needs this doing yet it was not set up correctly when it was manufactured. If this is required it would be part of the first service, if you do it and something goes wrong you will invalidate your warranty. Be very careful of Honda UK, and anything that could invalidate you warranty. (Note Portsmouth Honda).
