I would take it in to get the ABS system serviced - you may have introduced air into the hydraulics or moved the ABS sensor out of position. If oyu have the power-assist brakes, you will notice that there isn't any - assist, that is.

I have a 2003 r1150rt bmw motor bike .. The anti lock brakes do not work to their full potential. Press ******* the brakes and the brake lights flash till you shut her down and turn it back on

I've heard of problems being caused with the ABS on BMWs because of battery problems. Sounds daft I know but it seems that unless the battery is 100% there can be many odd electrical gremlins. Easier to check than having to replace parts of the ABS kit.
Good luck.

ABS Failure light flashes fast when bike is started and Brake lights stay on

Hi, Michael for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue.
