Does the Eastern 2010 Night Prowler have front brakes?

I am unfamiliar with this bike but most do have front and rear brakes . You should be able to see brake calipers mounted on forks and they are operated by hand lever on right side of handlebars.

This bike is on 2004 it will drive good when you come to a stop i cant put in nuterarl it will jump from 1th to 2 all the time if i hold it on the clutch aand rev it to 3000 rpm it will go in easy as this...

Some bikes can be difficult to get into neutral and as it's your first bike, you haven't had the practice at doing it yet.

Try being really gentle with it when stopped. But a better way than that is, as you are coming to a stop and know you aren't going to be setting off again immediately, change into neutral before you come to a stop. Knock the gear lever down to the bottom (1st) and then clicking it up into neutral.
This works because the engine is reving nearer the 3000 rpm you talk about.

It's not you, or your fault. I've been riding 23 years and sometimes it happens to me if I'm on an unfamiliar bike.

Welcome to the biking community and happy biking in 2011

Slipping clutch

Use caution anytime a bike doen't operate as it should. The problem could be your unfamiliarity with the bike or a mechanical problem such as a broken spring on a shift drum index arm. Take the bike to a dealer or at least call a dealer and let them give some input.

My keeway wont start

Check the fuses. Is the kill switch on or shorting out? Disconnect it and then check for spark. Sidestand/centerstand should be up, Got a good battery?

I am unfamiliar with your Keeway and just trying to help. Don't give me a bad rating if I miss the mark on this one. Thanks.

Scooter won't start

Chances are the battery has never been replaced. You could replace the battery or get a 1 or 2 amp battery charger and try to charge the old battery. DO NOT go over 2 amps when charging. I would buy the charger before I bought a new battery. Saving the old battery is worth a shot. If the battery won't take a charge, at least you now have a charger for when you need it. Be sure water covers the top of each cell in the battery before charging.

I am unfamiliar with your specific bike but if it has a kick starter, it should be on the right side of the gear box near the back and close to the foot rest. It could be that your scooter does not have a kick start but has an electric start instead. Fix the battery problem then put the engine in neutral and press the buttons on the handlebars. One of them is likely to be the start button.

Two final thoughts. First, go to a dealer that sells Torpedo scooters and ask questions on how the scooter operates and user maintenance you should be doing while you own it. Get and read an owners manual. Second, in a safe area, practice emergency stops. Imagine a car pulls out in front of you and then brake quickly to avoid an accident. Do this for an hour. Now when something happens you will automaticly react instead of having hesitation by having to think, " Now where is the brake on this bike? ".

Please rate this solution as "FixYa" if I have answered your questions. Thanks!
